When I think back to the later years of my parents’ lives, it was about a quarter of their lives that were immobilized and bedridden for a long time, devastated by illness, until they left. I, my family, and I feel so helpless and regretful.
People deserve to have a very beautiful course of life, but somehow of our fate is always giving a surprise and regrettable in the end. People may get old and must go through a period of pain, weakness, degradation, illness, going in and out of the hospital, and become bedridden. We do not want to resign ourselves to fate, nor do we want to slowly wither and wither.
Destiny in Our Hands: Science Transforms Lives
That inspires my thought to devote my experienced engineering knowledge to developing assistive devices for the elderly. I believe we can embrace science to help make the final path of our lives easier and more respectful.
Be more self-reliant and not a burden to the family, and complete the major life event with more dignity.

From Textiles to Assistive Tech: A Purposeful Shift
18 years ago, we were just a subcontracted textile manufacturer supplying for the well-known overseas brands. When the Wenchuan earthquake struck China in 2008, many people in the community extend their helping hands to help the victims. We discovered that the textile products we manufactured under customer contracts are, in fact, the advance assistive devices designed to aid individuals with disabilities.
In addition to helping the disabled in their daily lives, the assistive devices we donated are also applied to the disabled elderly, and in the process, we also get suggestions for improvement from various aspects such as hospitals, nursing homes, and users.
Since then, we have continued to invest in R&D and use science to create adaptive device.
We want to use assistive devices to help improve the lives of people with disabilities so that they can recover, live comfortably and regain their dignity with assistive devices.
Success and Continuing the Journey
Luckly and out of our expectation, our endeavour was finally returned and the customers’ full satisfactions let us continues our growth and development.
To this day, we have always insisted on focusing on the research and development and production of scientific assistive devices for the elderly, so that more disabled seniors can regain their self-esteem and continue to write a wonderful life.
We are grateful to be able to continues our achievements by helping to the communities and others, and to be able to collaborate with like-minded partners, which is a great joy for us.
