–Purpose of product design: EZ Assistive Gait Belt is a device designed to aid caregivers in safely supporting patients or the elderly during standing, walking, and transfers, reducing caregiver strain and enhancing patient security and comfort.
–Gait Belt comes in 3 sizes: The transfer gait belt comes in three sizes: S, M, L, and XL. The red small size fits waist measurements of 24-32 inches, the yellow medium size fits waist measurements of 30-38 inches, the green large size fits waist measurements of 34-42 inches, and the blue extra large size fits waist measurements of 40-48 inches. Please measure the user’s waist to choose the appropriate gait belt size.
–Gait belt with 4 handles and leg straps: EZ Assistive Gait Belt consists of a waist belt and two leg straps, providing support for the user’s waist and legs. The waist belt is ingeniously designed with four handles, which are filled with soft foam inside, allowing caregivers to comfortably grip and provide strength support and safety from various angles for the patient.
–Double-layered safety protection design: The patient transfer belt employs strong adhesive hook and loop fasteners and a buckle with a breaking strength of 150 kg for dual-lock safety protection, ensuring secure usage. The safety working load of the gait belt with handles is 330 pounds (150 kg); please ensure not to exceed this weight limit.
–Use of materials: EZ Assistive gait belts for seniors is made of nylon material and reinforced stitching, ensuring great durability. It is filled with foam on the inside for added comfort and pressure distribution. The inner layer of the belt features a non-slip material to prevent the belt from sliding, providing users with a comfortable and secure experience.
–Clean tips: EZ Assistive gait belt with leg straps is machine washable, thereby greatly simplifying cleaning and care. However, please wash the gait belt separately from other clothes to prevent the velcro from getting tangled with fabric fibers and shortening the product’s lifespan. Additionally, it is advisable to have a spare clean gait belt with handles for seniors on hand to minimize wait time during laundry changes.
